Ariana Grande has been having a rough couple of months (re. her personal life) but also the best couple of months (re. her professional life). Releasing her latest album ‘thank u, next’ only six months after her previous album ‘sweetener’, the singer is a FORCE of nature and we’re obsessed.

As if she hasn’t already wowed us enough, the star has just made music history – and is the first one to do so since The Beatles did way back in 1964. How? By landing tracks in the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions on the Billboard Hot 100 chart all at the same time.

The top 3 Ari jams taking the charts by storm are:

  1. 7 Rings’ at the No. 1 spot
  2. break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored’ at the No. 2 spot
  3. thank u, next’ at No. 3

That’s how much of a smash her latest album is. All the songs in ‘thank u, next’ were on the charts, with only one missing the Top 40 cut. The news of all three of her songs holding the highest positions on the charts was so unbelievable, even Ari herself thought it was a joke as she said, “i laughed when i saw this bc i thought y’all edited it. thank u from the bottom of my heart”.

This milestone the ‘thank u, next‘ singer has acheived is nothing short of extraordinary but, also truly well deserved. Watch James Corden celebrate Ari’s accomplishment with her, on his talk show, ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden‘:

Congratulations, Ari! Keep being your fierce self and wowing us with your wonderful voice.
