Much like her Lip Kits for the first six months they were in production, Kylie Jenner’s Cali-based pop-up store is a mythical unicorn many of us can only hope to experience. For the lucky few that did get a chance to shop her products IRL, the reality of it was a bit less magical than expected.

According to Racked, there were a lot of rules. For example, people waiting in the massive line weren’t allowed to sit (“You must stand at all times”) even though some of them had been waiting for over ten hours.

A wristband was required to get in, but once you put the wristband on, you “cannot leave the line” – yes, they actually bolded it on the very official and extensive list of rules.

Once shoppers got into the store, they were only allowed 20 minutes to shop and another 10 to wait in the checkout line. And because apparently everyone’s bank account has infinite zeros, like Kylie’s, no prices were posted anywhere in the store, so no one knew how much they were spending until they got to the register.

Even with the restrictions, fans say it was worth the madness.
