It looks like Ariana Grande’s “break” from social media didn’t last long, because she’s back to talking about Pete Davidson on Twitter. Earlier today, a fan asked why she changed the name of the song “Pete” on her upcoming album to “Pete Davidson,” and this is how she responded:

“i like the way it looks
i love his name and i love him
music lasts forever. it’ll outlive any tattoo, any memory, any anything, even myself so i want my love for him and how i feel to be a part of that”

And that’s cute! But as of last week, Ariana and Pete were allegedly taking a break from social media. He deleted all of his ‘grams and Ariana said she was taking a “breather” because they felt “attacked.”

“They’re just tired of being attacked,” a source close to Grande said. “They don’t get why there’s backlash when it’s supposed to be a really happy time for them. Pete especially has been getting a lot of hate from fans. It’s been hurtful, and he’s actually pretty sensitive.”

Since their break, Ariana has posted on Instagram a few times. She posted this cute picture of her and Pete today:

And she posted these two photos in the last few days. In total fairness, she did turn off the comments on all Instagrams, preventing some of the direct hate she’s been getting.

Since announcing their engagement, the two have gotten hate from both his fans and hers, and they decided it was too toxic of an environment for them. But it looks like that may be over!
