Just when we thought today was going to be a good day, this goes and happens.
Reports are saying that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split up. WHYOHGOSHWHY?!
A source told OK! Australia that the engaged couple couldn’t agree on when they should have children.
The insider claimed that Liam, 28, was eager to settle down and start a family but 25-year-old Miley isn’t ready yet.
“He wants kids and doesn’t want to keep putting it off but it’s not quite the timeline Miley had in mind… he is left heartbroken,” the source said.
“Miley put off plans for the wedding and Liam was growing tired of it. They haven’t been getting along in recent months.”
The insider added: “[She] didn’t really want to get married. It’s something that everyone else seemed to get but Liam. [His] family had been begging him to see the light for a long time, but he had faith in Miley. Now he feels like an idiot.”
In fairness, last year she did tell The Sun: “I don’t envision marriage. I’m 24. I hope I get to live a little bit more. I have too much living to do [before I get married].”
But things change and people change, so maybe that’s what happened to Miley.
Plus this is all just speculation at the moment, so until we hear it from Miley or Liam directly, we can’t be sure.
Miley and Liam first met in 2009 when they starred together in The Last Song, and their relationship has been on-again-off-again since then. But since their latest reconciliation in 2016 things have looked good for the pair, with them even getting engaged.
