Cardi B is a officially a mama, y’all!
The Bodak Yellow rapper announced that she’d given birth to her first child, a baby girl with her husband Offset on Tuesday, 10 July via Instagram.
Under a (Beyonce-inspired?) floral pregnancy photo the music star announced her daughter’s name with the caption, “Kulture Kiari Cephus 07/10/18”.
Individual, sure. But the moniker selection should not come as such a surprise, should it? Especially when you consider little Kulture’s mama’s real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar Cephus and dad Offset is christened Kiari Kendrell Cephus?
While this new addition is the first child for Cardi, Offset, who she married in September, is now a father of four.
In June, 25-year-old Cardi opened up to Rolling Stone about her excitement around motherhood and her plans to take her child on tour with her.
“What I envision is my tour bus has my own personal room, and I just want to be with my baby,” she said. “Only time I don’t have my baby with me is when I’m getting my hair done, makeup done, performing.”
Adding: “I don’t want to miss one second. I don’t want to miss no smiles, I don’t want to miss no new movement, I don’t want the baby to confuse me and the babysitter.”
