We are the next generation of change makers, risk takers and innovators but sometimes it can be difficult to get inspired to make your big move, especially if that move has to do with your career. If you’ve been jumping from one internship to the next learning exactly what it is you don’t want to be doing for the rest of your life, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival could be the boost of motivation you need to make that business move you’ve been dreaming about.

A two-day festival happening on November 25 and 26, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival brings experts from literally every field imaginable – including government, technology, business and academia – to help provide you with the tools to achieve your goals. It’s an awesome way to spend your weekend – get inspired to make a change rather than chilling on your couch binge-watching Netflix.

The boundary-pushing talks bring together both international and regional leaders to help share their knowledge and motivate you to be the best you can be, and you can also take part in workshops and interactive discussions.

The line-up of keynote speakers is stacked so you better bring a notebook (or two). Psychologist and well-known author Dr. Shefali Tsabary will be sharing tips on how you can be a conscious achiever, and speed-reading expert and world-famous CEO of Kwik Learning Jim Kwik will also be there to teach you how to master your mind so you can study smarter.

Award-winning musician Akon is also one of the keynote speakers (which may surprise you if you’re not up to date on all the good he’s been doing in the world) and he’ll be talking about how to be empowered and make change happen. Other speakers include Saudi #girlboss Adwa Al Dakheel, who’ll be diving into the appeal and challenges of being multi-talented (we can totally relate to that one) and His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Bin AlWaleed Bin Talal Al Saud.

Already have your start-up idea and just need a partner or funding? You can get your own booth in the exhibition space and find your future investors. You could even be in with a chance of winning Dhs100,000 if your pitch is the best!

The regular visitor package is Dhs525 and it’ll give you access to every zone, but we advise you top it up with the Youth Package, which will let you in to panel talks and allow you to register for youth start-up workshops. Plus, it’s free, so why not?
