So…..Benefit FINALLY launched their first *ever* setting spray and we had to review it as soon as it landed on our desk. With a new makeup launch coming up every few weeks, you might be wondering what makes this one so special. The POREfessional Super Setter is said to be a multi-tasking setting spray which instantly blurs your pores and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. At first look, I was quite impressed with the size of the product. The POREfessional Super Setter was compact enough to fit in my handbag but also had enough product to make it worth the price; and to me, this was a good enough start.Â
The application is quite simple: after applying your makeup, shake well and mist evenly all over. Upon trying out the setting spray, I quickly was convinced that the Super Setter was going to be a staple in my makeup bag. What makes the POREfessional Super Setter special is the application and the formula. Most of the setting sprays in the market right now tend to leave your skin feeling sticky and heavy….but not this one. The microfine mist formula was absorbed quickly, leaving my skin refreshed within a matter of seconds. No drops and no stickiness. I also noticed an instant reduction in the visibility of my pores. Ngl, this setting spray also left my skin feeling softer with a subtle sheen.
If you *are* opting to invest in this new spray, I’d keep in mind that you do have to spritz a couple of times to feel a difference. Due to the ultra-fine formula, you would need an additional few spritzes, which means your setting spray might run out faster than anticipated, but aside from that, this product definitely lived up to the expectations I had from Benefit Cosmetics. There are some products which you know you’re going to love for a long time, and this is definitely one of them.
