Hair-wise, the past year or so has been a truly eventful period for our gal Dua Lipa.
Cast your mind back to September, and you’ll remember how all of this experimentation began: with a brand new fringe chopped into her deep brown hair – and oh, how we delighted in her bravery.
…How could we have known what was coming next?
Then, of course, it was the badass, two-tone, half-Oreo period. Her bottom layer stayed chocolate brown, and her top layer was a beauteous, Cruella-Devil-gone-cool blanket of blonde. (Alprazolam)
Sadly, as any hair-adventurer will know, peroxide is a difficult beast, and poor Dua suffered some breakages to her newly platinum lengths back in February.
Then again, when one door closes, another opens – and Dua opened the door to an incredible half-mullet, half-shag, blonde fringe and brunette lengths situation. We’re not kidding when we say this woman suits any hairstyle the world throws at her. (Oh, and she dabbled in the pink hair game during lockdown, too – no biggie).
And now, after teasing another big transformation on her instagram, Dua has come full circle, opting for an all-over brunette colour complete with a cool-girl split fringe.
Is it just me or does this make her look completely different? Either way, it looks divine, and is the perfect next step as Dua works towards regrowing those damaged strands.
What’s next for Dua Lipa’s technicolour dream-hair? Who knows – but one thing’s for sure, she’ll manage to pull it off.
