A concealer can make or break your entire make-up look. Most of us go through concealers than we do any other make-up products. There are many things to considered; shade, skin type, full or medium coverage and the finish (no one wants to look ashy in these streets). In anticipation of the Cosmo Beauty Awards, our beauty team tried these concealers and we’re pretty sure that these concealers are here to stay- pun intended! In no particular order, these are our shortlist of concealers that’ll get the job done.
Huda Beauty, Over Achiever Concealer
Huda Beauty remains a G-E-N-I-U-S. This concealer doesn’t just look good on your face- with the light-reflecting spheres infused in it, it is also packed with ingredients like green tea and Jericho rose extract that are good for your skin. Dhs132 on Sephora.
MAC, Studio Fix, 24-Hour Wear Concealer
Th is a lightweight concealer with a medium to full-coverafe formula that is super creamy. Just a dab of this product masks undereye circles, redness, and blemishes. I’m pretty sure you can use it to cover-up a tattoo. Dhs100 on Mac
Bourjois Paris, Always Fabulous Long-Lasting Stick Foundcealer
Do we have ladies that with at the beach, aquarium? yes, this is for you. This concealer is water and transfer resistant. And even if you use it over your thickest, richest face cream, it won’t slide off, thanks to its waterproof powers. Dhs115 on Namshi.
Maybelline, Instant Age Rewind Concealer
If Gigi Hadid uses it, I want it! This is the most affordable foundation out of this bunch, but I’m really impressed by it. The liquid formula is super pigmented, but really thin and lightweight and it blends so easily into the skin. Dhs59 on Namshi
Sheseido, Synchro Skin Concealer
This concealer is super creamy and lightweight. It sets flawlessly on the skin and covers a multitude of sins. It is buildable and can last the whole day, and gives off an airbushed, flawless finish. 10/10 would recommend. Dhs158 on Sephora.
