Emma Roberts is one of those people who can pull of any hair cut or style she pleases. Over the last few years we’ve seen her with an array of lewks, highlights include: an icy white bob, an auburn bob, a brown bob (can you recognise the theme here?).

On top of this she’s also, on occasion, super dark and/or long haired. Essentially, whatever style she sets her mind to she rocks. More recently, she’s been growing out her dark brown bob into a longer, shoulder skimming style.

We were just getting used to her vampy look when BAM, she went and switched it up again – Emma, you may even be more indecisive than us. That being said, the new look has blown us away – blonde Emma is back, baby and this revival might just be better than any of the ones before.

Em shared a sneak peek of her new ‘do over on her Instagram story and we knew from the moment we saw it that we were in LOVE. It’s a gorgeous honey blonde that’s bright – without being too much, and manages to still look natural af.

Honey got a new do! @emmaroberts #NineZeroOne #901Girl … For all you stylists who may get this color request for the holidays! Here’s my formula breakdown using @joico. Formula 1: (decolorizing) Color Intensity Eraser with 10 Volume LumiShine Developer. Lifted to a light warm brown in 15mins. Formula 2: (Highlights) Blonde Life Powder Lightener with 20 Volume LumiShine Developer working up to 30 Volume Formula 3: (In between foils) LumiShine Demi-Permanent Liquid 9NV + 8N with 5 Volume LumiShine Developer. This helped tone out some of the brassiness. Formula 4: (Root Tap) LumiShine Demi-Permanent Liquid 6N + 8N + 7V with 5 Volume LumiShine Developer Formula 5: (All over toner) LumiShine Demi-Permanent Liquid 10SB + 9V + Clear with 5 Volume LumiShine Developer *Lastly I did the @incommon Crystal Cashmere treatment to nourish and strengthen her hair. I cannot do any color correcting work without using this treatment. It’s dreamy!

Her stylist Nikki Lee posted a beaut before and after photo over on her Instagram, and explained exactly how she created the new colour in her caption. It’s not just the colour that’s had a revamp, Emma’s hair is visibly longer and thicker, too.

We know, we know, winter is coming, it’s time to go dark, etc etc. Well, if you’re currently deciding whether or not to make the break to brunette, this is a sign! You really can keep your blonde all year round – Em’s the living proof. We’re taking a leaf out of her book. Pass us the bleach.
