As a blonde in Dubai, I’ll tell you now, it ain’t cheap. I’ve been charged nearly *gulp Dhs2,000 for a hair colour at some salons, which I’ve told myself is an investment in myself but far out, it’s a whole lotta cash.
I mean, considering that these stylists spend about FIVE HOURS on my hair (I have a lot k) it’s not totally riddick but who has that kinda cash to splash every six to eight weeks?
SO, good news peeps, there’s a five-star salon that is a pretty dang good deal, at Dhs425 for a FULL HEAD OF BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS.
No jokes.
I thought it was too good to be true, so I went along, tested it out, and well, I’m happy as a clam. I was holding my breath at the end when they asked for the dreaded payment, but it’s legit.
For Dhs425 for shorter hair, or Dhs495 for long, you can get a full head of blonde with one of the stylists.
The salon even uses special smart-sheets instead of regular hair foil, ‘so your hair doesn’t cook’ my stylist, Khaled tells me.
