Mercury retrograde once again begins on July 17, 2025, and lasts till August 10, based on the Old Farmer’s Almanac.

This will be the third one of the year, and it’s in the sign of Leo. No need to blame Mercury for any chaos that may arise. With all the inner work, self-realizations, and healing you’ve done, how easily can you erupt? Or how calm are you in unexpected situations? A great opportunity to know yourself more deeply.


Suppressed emotions will surface, and you won’t be able to stop them easily.

No matter how hard you try to forget, move on, or ignore Mercury will want you to reflect, review, and then let go (that is, if you’re really ready to let go). So many charged emotions will be out in the open, like an open wound needing clearing.

Trust, trust, trust!

Similar to point one, you can’t deny someone’s true nature during Mercury retrograde. Even if it’s someone from your past resurfacing and you blindly follow your old perceptions about them then you haven’t learned the lesson yet. Mercury removes the masks people are hiding behind.
