Ever since Kourtney Kardashian engaged in a romantic relationship with Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, rumours have circulated regarding where Scott Disick stands with the entire Kar-Jenner family. The pair made their love for one another legally official with a wedding nuptials ceremony in May 2022, causing more speculations to spiral.
Just a few days ago, Page Six reported that an insider source close to the family shared that Scott had been ‘excommunicated’ by the family with a headline that reads: ‘Scott Disick ‘excommunicated’ by Kardashians after Travis Barker wedding’.
However, after Paper Magazine shared the story on their Instagram page, Kris Jenner responded to set the record straight. The caption of the post reads: “Scott Disick has reportedly been “excommunicated” by the Kardashians 🤭”.
And taking to the comments section, Kris clapped back, saying that “Scott will NEVER be excommunicated from our family….he’s the father of my grandchildren and a special part of our family… we love him and not true! 🥰😍“.
Scott, who shares three children with his ex Kourtney, Mason, 12, Penelope, 10 and Reign, 7, is yet to comment on this matter publically.
Although the head of the family, Kris seems to have put this rumour to bed, the new family dynamic has been a consistent plotline on the Kardashians’ 2022 Hulu/Disney+ show. In the pilot episode that debuted earlier this year, Scott told Khloé that he wished to be “acknowledged” and following this, Kendall Jenner said that he was “villainizing” the family.
