Burj Khalifa is back at it again, only this time it’s to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday. The tallest building in the world (no biggie), lit up like the first day of Eid, in all its red white and blue glory.
The British monarch turns a whooping 94-years-old today! That’s right, six years short of a century.
Elizabeth started her reign back in 1952 and has had one heck of a life. Not only has she been Queen for quite some time now, but she’s also raised a beautiful family and grandkids galore.
Only two nights ago, the skyscraper projected Switzerland’s flag as a thank you for projecting the United Arab Emirates flag on Matterhorn mountain in the Alps *thank you geography class, we knew you’d come in handy one day!*.
It’s celebrations all around for Dubai to keep morale high during these dark times.
