The first trailer for David Michôd’s The King has dropped and understandably, the internet is losing its mind.
There are many reasons for this, and I’m going to take you through them:
First of all, it stars Timothée Chalamet!!! We just have to stan.
Fans were shocked to discover that Timmy had cut his fabulous curly hair for the role of Henry V. Now he is sporting a bowl cut. We’re all struggling to come to terms with his new hairstyle, but he still look beaut, especially with the scar on his cheek. What a hero.
Forget the bowl haircut…
I can't get over his jawline n expression..
Look at his eyes, look how emotive..

Basically, any scene with Timmy is great.
Robert Pattinson plays The Dauphin of France.
YES, Edward from Twilight is in this movie. Before you ask, No, he is not sparkling in the sunlight. Rather, he looks like a very threatening villian who desperately needs a shower. R-Patz wears a long blonde wig that makes him look like a member of the Volturi.

It’s not a good look sweetie.
Lily-Rose Depp plays Timmy’s love interest.
Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily plays Catherine of Valois, who finally marries King Henry V. Lily is better known for her modelling debuts with Chanel, so I’m super excited to see her acting in action.

Some other notable actors are Sean Harris and Ben Mendelsohn who play Michael Williams and King Henry IV respectively.
The movie is about Hal (Timothée) who struggles with the burden of being king. After his father dies, he is crowned Henry V. Now, the young prince must navigate palace politics and the war with France (Robert Pattinson) his father left behind. The movie is based on the Shakespeare play, so you know it’s going to be tragic.
