A day after Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States, more than 1 million people marched in solidarity across the US and the world to show their dissatisfaction and to shout out to the world that Trump’s agenda will not go unchallenged.

It wasn’t just women who marched; plenty of men joined in too. No one expected the number of marchers to be so huge. Washington alone reportedly had over 500,000 people- apparently more than the Trump inauguration.

Celebrities, politicians, people like you and me; everyone took to the streets in a sea of pink- embracing the Pussyhat Project’s handmade, cat-eared hats

Here’s a roundup of pictures of protesters across the world from New York to London, and from San Francisco to Sydney.
