Nearly five years since the last instalment, the much-loved superhero Spider-Man is officially swinging back into action with the next phase of the Marvel Universe, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
With fans across the Middle East eagerly awaiting Tom Holland’s return to the big screen as the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man (saraha, we can’t wait), here at Cosmo ME HQ, we naturally did some digging.
From new cast members joining, plot hints to what we can expect in the superhero’s next adventure, and of course, the UAE release date (we know you’re here for that), here’s everything we know so far about Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Who is in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast?
Since stepping into the role, Tom Holland has been our Spider-Man – so yes, he will reprise his role as the titular character. Joining him is none other than the fashion queen Zendaya (now Mrs Holland), who will also continue her role as Spider-Man’s love interest, MJ, alongside Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, aka the iconic “guy in the chair.” And ofc, our favourite Jon Favreau is also back to play Happy Hogan.
Now, for the plot-thickening bit. Sadie Sink has officially joined the cast in a mystery role. While fans know her as Max Mayfield from Stranger Things, rumours on X and TikTok have been speculating (and just mildly convinced) she’ll be playing X-Men’s one and only, Jean Grey. But nothing’s been confirmed yet.

When is Spider-Man: Brand New Day releasing in the UAE?
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is just over the horizon! The movie will officially release in the UAE this summer on July 31, 2026, as per VOX Cinemas.
What to expect in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
Picking up after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the new instalment jumps forward four years, which means it’s four years down the drain where no one, literally no one, remembers Peter Parker (insert crying face).
It will follow his life after Doctor Strange’s memory-altering spell, where he continues to protect New York City under the radar and anonymously. And as per our neighbourhood-friendly comic fans, the trailer showed hints of the original comics from The Amazing Spider-Man series. Remember that cocoon scene in the trailer? Yup, that’s him going through his physical evolution. What exactly does it mean? Well, we’ll find out on the day.
