Maria and Menandro’s love story
“Maria and Menandro are perfect for each other,” expresses cast-mate Valmir. Such strong sentiments from a member of their former love triangle…
But it just goes to show how irrefutably *perfect* Maria and Menandro have been for each other since the beginning of Love is Blind season 3. The couple got along swimmingly during their honeymoon, sharing a love that seemed to be easygoing and fun-loving. This is because Mena is easygoing by nature, and Maria is an honest communicator. Even their families bonded over the shared love for football.

“Maria sometimes talks too much, and she loses herself in what she’s saying” says cast-mate Daniela.
By now, we know that a ~subtle~ feud has been bubbling between Maria and Menandro, on the one hand, and Karen and Valmir on the other. Tensions gradually began building up between the two couples because Valmir liked Maria, and Maria thought that Karen had insinuated that she was into Menandro.
In a surge of misplaced frustration, Maria ended up calling Menandro deceptive in front of the *entire* cast. Unfortunately, Menandro was very hurt by Maria’s impulsive words, and for the first time this season, the couple had quite a fiery argument when they got back to their apartment.
We were pretty shaken up by their argument, especially when Maria *verbatim* said that she “thinks the marriage is off.” So, will the argument jeopardize their fate at the altar?

Maria and Menandro: Newly-weds?
In the moments leading up to the wedding, we were all very nervous about what the couple’s fate would be. Would Maria really call off the wedding? Or would Menandro beat her to it?
As Maria walked down the aisle, Menandro had tears in his eyes. And it turns out they were tears of joy because Maria said yes (a thousand times) !! And as expected, so did Menandro, with absolute conviction, ~forever~.

Karen and Valmir’s love story
We were first introduced to Valmir when he was *obsessing* over Maria. But in a shocking turn of events, Karen picked Valmir over Italo, and Valmir said yes to her marriage proposal. Overall, we were quite apprehensive as to the couple’s motives: Do they *really* love each other? Is this true love and is it indeed blind?
During the honeymoon, Valmir proclaimed that Karen is *the woman* for him, sharing “she completes me in so many different ways.” But Bianca quickly said what was at the tip of our tongues: “Is Valmir really into Karen, or is he just using her as an opportunity to be here?” This tea is ~scorching~.

Signs of trouble in paradise? Karen called Valmir her “runner-up” because he wasn’t her first choice, and even Maria found it to be inappropriate. And when the couple returned to the city, Valmir considered Karen to be a “pain in the ass” and fussy. Karen called Valmir emotional and impulsive, priding herself on her rationality.

But when Karen said yes, we *still* weren’t comforted: the prospect of Valmir shutting the wedding party down with a resounding *NO* haunted us. But he ended up saying “I do”! We can’t lie, we were pretty surprised that this couple ended up tying the knot. Only time will tell if they’ll get their happily ever after…

Agata and Renan’s love story
Let’s face it – these two were pure ~magic~ since the very beginning. He called her “the woman of his life” and she described him as her “mirror“. They seemed to share a profound emotional bond, lovey dovey as ever. Except, Agata began to take an interest in Renan’s dating history. But when Agata met Renan’s female friends, the girls absolutely loved her and were supportive of the couple.

Agata claims her interest in Renan’s past relationships isn’t out of jealousy: we know that she’s been in some difficult relationships in the past, so she simply wanted to understand what she was getting herself into with Renan. As for Renan, he wants to be with Agata *for real*. He thinks the insecurities, jealousy and obsession are unjustified because he truly loves and cares for Agata.
One of their disagreements was, believe it or not, over Valmir. Agata didn’t understand why Renan enjoyed spending his time with Valmir: in her mind, if Renan got along with Valmir, then that means Agata won’t get along with Renan. This shows just how protective Agata is of her partnership and the people that surround it. They ended up sorting it out though, because Renan was very understanding and compromising. But will their love lead to a *forever* marriage?

Daniela and Daniel’s love story
Out of all the couples on LIB Brazil szn 3, it feels like Daniela and Daniel have know each other the longest. Their love seems *pure*, and seeing Daniela cry tears of love for Daniel over and over again is truly wholesome. Since their honeymoon, Daniel proved to Daniela that he was in it for the long haul. They bonded over the importance of respect and family, but they also had a very fun, easygoing dynamic. Adorbz!

The *only* point of contention for the couple was Daniel’s excessively sweet diet, but really, does that even classify as drama? Daniela was rightfully concerned over the amount of sweets Daniel consumed on a daily basis, but both parties kept a compromising attitude: on his birthday, she fixed him a gluttonous, chocolaty breakfast meal. And slowly, Daniel became more mindful of eating a ~balanced~ diet.

We can’t lie – our hearts sank ~deep~ into our stomachs when Daniel didn’t say “I do” right away. He opted to read a few words out of a handwritten letter instead, and we were super nervous to see what he was going to tell Daniela. And, ~lo and behold~, he didn’t end up saying I do: He ended up *writing it* on his shirt. After that scare, Daniela sure took her sweet time… but she ended up said YES.

Bianca and Jarbas
Cheers to the most *special* couple of the season, the pair that was immune to love triangles and drama ever since the pods. Did things change as the show went on? The two were absolutely ~enamoured~ with one another during the honeymoon, and their love didn’t change when they returned to the city. Each of the lovebirds has a child from a previous partner, and the entire family got along wonderfully. Jarbas’ daughter adored Bianca, and Jarbas felt the same way about Bianca’s son.

Shockingly, Jarbas seemed to turn on Bianca after the fitting session for the wedding. He was *super* drunk, accusing Bianca of hiding her true self completely out of nowhere. Bianca couldn’t believe it and ended up saying that if this is the real Jarbas, she doesn’t like him. We were seriously shocked !!

As Bianca walked down the aisle, Jarbas was ~sobbing~. When asked if she takes Jarbas as her lawfully wedded husband, Bianca said “I do” immediately.
But in the behind the scenes monologues, Jarbas repeatedly said that he hoped Bianca wouldn’t get angry about what he was going to do. So we put two and two together, and our hearts sank to the *absolute pits* of our stomachs. Could Jarbas really turn on his “soulmate”?
And when Jarbas didn’t say I do right away, opting to read Bianca a letter instead, you could cut the ~tension~ in the room with a knife. Bianca had a hurt, confused look plastered across her face, and the entire family looked *shocked*.
Jarbas finally spit it out: “My final answer is no.” Now, before you guys go into cardiac arrest, hear Jarbas out. He continued, “no, I can’t imagine living my life without you.” Was that ~really~ necessary ?? Anyway… Jarbas shared the most beautiful words about love and family, bringing Bianca to tears (of joy, thankfully).
