HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is known for her keen involvement in humanitarian work, and this morning, she is encouraging us all to get involved.
In a touching tribute to Mother Teresa on her social media, the Dubai Royal marked the anniversary of Mother Teresa's death, which has been remembered as the UN's International Day of Charity since 2012.
Today marks 20 years since the death of Mother Teresa, a nun and missionary, who was best known for her endless humanitarian work.
In HRH Princess Haya's Facebook post, she called upon us all to follow in Mother Teresa's footsteps...
"Today, the anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa, is designated by the United Nations as the International Day of Charity. This is in recognition of the role of charity in alleviating humanitarian crises and human suffering, as well as of the efforts of charitable organizations and individuals, including the work of Mother Teresa," mother-of-two, HRH Princess Haya wrote on both Instagram and Facebook. "What stone will you cast across the waters today to create some ripples?"
