One thing is for sure, the 1990s are still in!
While it may have been *gulp* nearly 20 years since Spice Girls smash 2 Become 1 was released, but that doesn’t stop it being our go-to karaoke song, whenever the occasion calls. And it seems the same is true for Mel C (aka Melanie Chisholm) and Victoria Beckham – Sporty Spice and Posh Spice, to you and I.
The former bandmates were both in the Maldives to ring in 2017, where they joined one and other on stage and broke out into song.
After the dreamy reunion, Mel C shared this cute snap, writing, “Candle light and soul forever… A wonderful start to 2017″.
Although Mel C and Victoria are the only two members of the group who are not going ahead with Mel B, Geri Halliwell (now Horner) and Emma Bunton’s 2017 reunion gig, which is going under the name of GEM, not the Spice Girls, maybe this is a sign that we could see the full line up back together one day.
